Admission Process Of BS Forensic Sciences
The applicants will have to go through the following steps for applying in BS forensic science degree program such as:
- Apply to the desired universities by filling up the application form, submitting the required documents (both personal and academic) and pay the application fees in the mentioned bank branch.
- The university will release a merit list of selected candidates, after evaluating their previous academic record.
- The shortlisted students will receive an offer letter for admission.
- The students can join their classes after accepting the offer letter within the provided deadline and paying the first installment fee to secure their seat.
Eligibility Criteria Of BS Forensic Sciences
- The students should have completed intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- They should have studied science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology /or Mathematics as main subjects in intermediate.
- They also should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in intermediate.
- They also should have minimum 60% marks in entry test.
Admission Intakes And Entry Test Of BS Forensic Sciences
The admission intake of BS forensic science is either yearly or semester-based. The semester system works as the admission twice a year (January and August) either in the fall or spring.
Entry test is not mandatory to take admission in BS forensic science program. Some of the universities accept the NAT test (conducted by National Testing Service) for admission, a single test applicable for all the NTS associated universities. Some of the top universities such as the University of Swat, University of Management and Technology Lahore, Government College Women University, Faisalabad accept this test while other universities conduct their own general and field-related tests. The students must have at least 50% to 60% marks to pass this test and take admission in any university on merit basis.

The merit of BS forensic science starts from 85% and ends at 72% in most public and private institutes in Pakistan.
