Admission Process Of BS Sociology
- Uiversity admissions portal from the official website.
- Sign in the form with an email address and complete the application form with all required information. Instructions to fill in the application form are given on the web page.
- They are also required to attach photocopies of all previous academic attested documents with the application form.
- After completing the application form, submit the final application and verify via email.
- An application fee will be mentioned on the form and can be deposited at the bank branch mentioned. After payment, upload a challan copy of the payment slip.
- The merit lists will be determined on all previous record and according to the university aggregate calculator.
Eligibility Criteria Of BS Sociology
- Students must have intermediate (12 years of education) with a minimum 50% marks
- Intermediate with any of the following subjects: History, Social Work, Islamic Studies, Education, Journalism, Health and Physical Education, Economics, Political Sciences, Psychology, General Studies, Geography, Statistics, Philosophy, Home Economics, Applied Psychology, Inter or equivalent.
- They also must have a 50% score in the admission test to take admission in some private or public sector universities of Pakistan.
Admission Intakes And Entry Test Of BS Sociology
Admissions of BS sociology start in August and January in most public and private universities of Pakistan.
Entry test is not compulsory to take admission in all public and private universities for BS sociology program. Some universities accept NAT test for admission, and some take their own entry test for admission in BS sociology. Students must have at least 50% marks in the admission test. This test contains a total of 100 marks.
Merit/Merit Formula Of BS Sociology
The merit of BS sociology is high in most public sector universities as compared to other programs. The merit starts from 88% and ends at 80% in government universities of Pakistan.in private universities, it mostly starts from 80% and ends at 72%.
