  • A HEC recognized degree is required in the relevant subject of science or engineering and also students must have 16 years of education in the relevant subject with at least 2.5 CGPA out of 4.00 equivalent marks.

  • They also must have passed the NTS GAT General test with a minimum 50% score.

The admissions of MS artificial intelligence start mostly in September and October. Some universities also take admission in January. Entry test is mandatory to take admission in top ranked and reputed engineering universities of Pakistan. The test is called the GAT general test. MS Artificial Intelligence From National University Of Computer And Emerging Sciences

The national university of computer and emerging sciences offers a 2 year degree program of MS artificial intelligence.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must have a degree in a relevant subject of science or engineering from a recognized university after 16 years of education.

  • They must have at least 60% marks or CGPA of minimum 2.0 out of 4.0.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Academic Record (Bachelor)=50%

  • Performance in university Admission Test= 50%

Typically there are a total of 4 courses in a semester. NUCES staff cannot register more than 2 courses in a semester. But in the 2nd semester, a student has the option to pursue MS by undertaking 6 credit hours which also involves MS Thesis or research Project which is spread over the last two semesters.

Note: Programming language course has no credit hour but it must be passed.

MS Thesis/Research Project has:

  • Complete at least 15 credit hours.

  • Must Pass the research methodology course.

  • CGPA must be of more than 2.5 out of 4.0.

MS Artificial Intelligence From University Of Management And Technology

University of management and technology also offers the 2 year degree program of MS artificial intelligence. There are a minimum 32 credit hours required to complete this degree program.

Admission criteria:

An applicant to of a MS or 18 Years equivalent program must have:

  • Bachelors in (SE/CS/IT/ ECE/DS/ EE/CE/) or also in physics, statistics, electronics, space science, mathematics which equals to 16 Years of education or BE in any engineering program from HEC and PEC recognized Institute or from foreign Institute

  • Students are also required to take additional deficiency courses where needed.

  • Graduates must have minimum 50% marks in the previous degree in the annual system or in the other case 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0 in the semester system with no 3rd division throughout the academic record.

  • Pass the following entry tests: i. HEC (HAT) or GAT NTS (General) with at least 50% marks or UMT Admission Test with also at least 50% marks. ii. Also admission interview by UMT Admission Committee.
