The National Assembly of Pakistan has officially opened applications for its prestigious Parliamentary Internship Program – Summer Batch 2025. Launched under the National Assembly Strategic Plan (NASP), this program aims to strengthen democratic engagement among youth, fostering a deeper understanding of governance, lawmaking, and public policy.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following academic and age-related conditions:

Minimum Education

• At least 14 years of education from a HEC-recognized institution

Eligible Programs

Candidates enrolled in or graduated from the following disciplines may apply:

• Law, Economics, Business/Public Administration
• Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Statistics
• Human Resources, Agriculture
• Media Sciences / Mass Communication
• Information Systems & Technology
• Social Sciences or any other equivalent 16-year program

Academic Performance

• Minimum 60% marks (Percentage system)
• Minimum 2.5 CGPA (Out of 4.0 in GPA system)

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Commit to a full-time schedule (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
• Follow professional attire and National Assembly’s code of conduct
• Refrain from political affiliations or bias during the internship
