Singa Award Scholarship 2024
The Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) collaborate together to offer the fully funded scholarships in Singapore. International students who want to conduct research in Singapore can receive a Singa scholarship for postgraduate study. Requirements of Singa Scholarship
- To apply for SINGA award scholarship candidates must meet the SINGA scholarship requirements.
- It is not necessary for applicants using the SINGA portal to submit separate applications on university portals. The documents can be submitted online.
- The research projects must be chosen by the candidates by browsing through the projects according to "Go to Research Areas."
- The reference letters must be sent straight to SINGA by the referees.
- As soon as SINGA has received at least two reference letters, the application process will begin.
- The necessary documents must be uploaded in soft copy format to the online application.
- It is advisable to submit your application at least two weeks before the deadline, as your referees will receive an email once your application has been submitted, and they will have seven days to complete and submit the reference letters.
- Candidates applying for PhD in Science and Engineering are eligible only, applicants applying for humanities, arts, and other related fields are not eligible to apply for SINGA award.
- The candidate can submit up to three research proposals, or more than one.
- Candidates are not required to remain in their bachelor's major; they are free to apply for a PhD in any field of interest.
- Lastly the SINGA scholarship interview will be conducted from the selected students.

- Valid Passport
- A recent passport size photo.
- Bachelors or Masters degrees academic transcripts.
- A letter of certification from university if your degree has not been issued yet.
- 2 recommendation letters which should be submitted online by the referees.
- Applicants applying to (National University of Singapore) are required to submit GRE scores in SINGA application form.
- It is optional to submit your IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I and II, and GATE results; the university may request them later for admission.
- A proper Singapore study plan sample for SINGA scholarship is required.

Application Portal to Apply for Singa Scholarship
In order to apply for the SINGA 2024, candidates must first register on the SINGA scholarship website.
- Applicants need to login to the SINGA scholarship portal and click on the "LOG IN" link located under the "Login without SingPass" heading. https://sms-applicant-app.a-star.edu.sg/
- Click the "Register Now" button on the following page for scholarship registration, fill out the required information, and create a SINGA scholarship login account. (select the citizenship type).
- Once your account has been created, start filling out the "Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)" application.
- To apply for a SINGA scholarship, provide all the necessary documents.
- Choose the supervisor and research project.
- After submission, Email will be sent to your referees.
- Request your referees to submit the reference letters to your application portal before the deadline
- Within 12 weeks after the application deadline, only those who have been shortlisted will receive an email notification.
- Before submitting the online application, you should check it again to make sure all the information is correct and accurate.
