Admission Process Of LLB

  • The admission process of the LLB degree program is very simple. Students are informed to go to the official website of Law University.

  • They must fill all required information along with previous academic record certification photocopies.

  • Also attach a copy of the submitted fee challan.

  • Also attach a photocopy of your ID card.

  • Submit the application without any mistake and verify via email or SMS.

Students can also apply hands on application by collecting form from law department and pay fee on mentioned bank. Must attach all documents with form and submit it to the department foal person.

Eligibility Criteria Of LLB

The eligibility criterion of each university is different. The basic criterion for most law colleges and universities is as:

  • Students must have a LAT Entry Test Conducted by HEC with minimum passing 50 marks.

  • They also must have intermediate F.A/FSc/ A-Level or equivalent with examination with minimum 55% marks in which 25% marks obtained in SSC / O Level + total marks obtained in intermediate + additional marks in civics, philosophy, English literature, 25 marks for maximum 2 subjects and 20 Marks additional for Hafiz Quran students.

The following are the eligibility criteria that are required to be fulfilled by the applicants.

  • Students aspiring to track a bachelor of legislative law should score minimum 45% in intermediate and qualify for the entry test required for admission in the LLB.

  • For pursuing a LLB, students must have completed graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized institute.

  • If students are already a graduate then they simply can pursue LLB for 3 years by also qualifying in entrance exams.

Admission Intakes And Entry Test Of LLB

The admission of LLB degree program starts in August and January in most public and private law universities in Pakistan.

Entry test is mandatory to take admission in top reputed public and private law institutes of Pakistan. For an LLB degree, the LAT test is mandatory. It is called the HEC law admission test and conducted mostly in March and April. This test consists of a total of 100 marks and students must have to pass at least 50%. This test is conducted by HEC.

Merit/Merit Formula Of LLB

The merit of LLB degree program varies from university to university. It is not very high, it commonly starts from 80% and ends at 70% in most public sector colleges and universities of Pakistan. In private sector institutes, it commonly starts from 70% and ends at 60% approximately.

The merit calculator is different for each institute. The merit formula to calculate merit of LLB is as:

Matriculation marks=10%
